FNB Failed to Update My Credit Record Internally
There is a reason i do not bank with FNB and today they have just confirmed my reasons. In 2013 i was handed over to attorneys due to an OD that i could not pay due to being unemployed, anyhow in 2015 after i got a new job i then repaid my debt in full via attorneys. A settlement letter was sent to both myself and FNB on the 30th of July 2015 confirming that. Now in 2020 i app**** for a new car which was approved on date 02 April 2020 however due to the lockdown we could not proceed with the application therefore on the 15th May 2020 the dealer requested a renewal of the approval and Wesbank declined advising that I had an FNB account that was handed over bear in mind i fully paid that account, closed the account with FNB and in the past years i have managed to buy a car, buy a house etc with another bank and my ITC record is in order. I have now had to once again contact attorneys to enquire on whether they sent the letter to FNB in 2015 which they confirmed they did. I mean really, what the hell is this?
I have never witnessed such incompetence in my life not forgetting that this has a negative impact on my credit record.
