FNB failed me from 2018 pertaining credit and assistance and sent me on a wild goose chase.
FNB Business contacted me during last week to comfort me that there will be a look at my credit, but still no answer. I am being haunted by ABSA, my Nedbank account is about to be closed, and I cannot move FNB. Kudo's to Blanche at Primrose branch, also the credit manager that explained that there hands are tied, the credit manager and consultant helped me to understand that I was blocked by my credit, due to my sequestration not being finalised, that was more than fifteen years ago, please read what I have to say about that.

I was sequestrated in 2006, I opened four businesses in August 2021. BarCone Asset Building Creations *** BarCone Automotive Resources & Services *** BarCone Marketing & Training *** BarCone Lubricants Four Life ***
I opened bank accounts with Nedbank, Standard Bank, First National Bank and I have failed since 3 September to open my bank accounts with ABSA. I have laid a complaint C***4 with ABSA regarding their failure to open bank accounts, also their neglect for 50 days, this was done 19 of October, and my bank accounts have not been opened yet. My credit record is suffering because I cannot transact with full potential, get my full income potential realized, I don’t have the credit that I require to finish everything, and I am struggling paying for two houses, credit cards and keep going with my product to market.
I have two cars, and I had a motorbike. the motorbike I had was ****** last of last weekend at the mechanic.
My credit is on a three and it should be on a one, I have had assistance from Nedbank, Standard Bank and ABSA with regards to credit on my personal name. I approached the banks in early September for help with the final stock preparation for the ecommerce website we are running, opening business accounts and for assistance with opening a physical shop. My problem is, my credit and my sequestration were never finalized or updated, I am facing serious problems, that have easy solutions, but I don't have the banks on my side. I have R400 000 worth of stock, I have R6 million in raw product in the ground, my motorbike got ****** at the mechanic, where one vehicle and the motorbike was. My other vehicle is in Pretoria. I am going to lose my cool with the fact that I have been asking the banks for assistance and that I have had no help from FNB, where I was diligently banking since 2008. And Please note Sir, not chump change.
I was listed in 2018 by Vodacom for R1800, I paid R5000, they broke a law, reason was simple, they couldn’t deliver on signal, data, there is a difference between invoicing and payment. I had to pay more than double the owed amount in settlement, Vodacom didn't update my credit for two years, my credit was only updated in March 2020, I then proceeded to suffer in silence until I got the credit from the banks, ABSA, Nedbank and Standard Bank, July this year, I never received any credit from FNB or assistance in clearing my name with the credit buro’s from any of the banks, even though they are aware of the situation. My income was well over R150k average in July 2018 when I started applying for credit.
Banks are great at collecting money, calling their debtors, but I am angry at the banks. They don’t listen and nobody is willing to help me sort out my credit so that I can start banking and paying bank the small amount of credit already made and outstanding. My plan is not to run the businesses on credit, but instead to use it for what credit was designed for, as a business tool, as a tool to buy stock as we did with the filling stations I was partner in, when the prices went up.
I am there where R50000 is preventing me from achieving greatness, R100 000 will make me float until I can get the first sales into cash and into the bank accounts. turning R400 000 stock into money and my harvest, I need to get to my harvest I don’t know how much I have lost during or even if I am still on R6 million. and the banks are playing silly ****** with me.
I have an income projection of at least R100 000 per month and that is just on one of the business constructs.
I am facing litigation from my landlord, I approached the banks in early September to get final credit, with budgets, for cars, R15000 to make R100 000 available, but my bike is ******, so I am upset, if the banks assisted me, I would have opened my shop, plus ecommerce, my bike wouldn’t have been ****** if I was able to pay the mechanics and get the bike and Skyline fixed, I could have sold the vehicle, but R5000 is the outstanding repair, that makes the car that is worth R40000, worth R10000, my other car is 1994 BMW 525i that needs R10000 to be in perfect condition, also worth R40000, but now is worthless. I have two cars, worth nothing if not repaired, I have a ****** motorbike. I have R400 000 worth of stock, I am not done with the packaging, I have outstanding credit of R15000 with my Branding and Brand Manager, everyone is pitching in, except the banks, and they are the ones going to benefit from this endeavor the most. I am going to sell my products on another platform BUT that cost me an additional 10% of my sales price, I can remedy that with R13000 that is outstanding on the ecommerce website I created but cannot finish. I have decided to go for stock, as we know stock is money, but now as we speak, I must beg and borrow to stay afloat. I have R6 million raw product in the ground that I need to turn into end product with minimal input, that will be done from income. I have spoken to my relationship managers at Standard bank, I have spoken to Nedbank, FNB promised from business side that they will help with getting my credit updated, but I am fighting to stay alive, not become a hobo, with millions in stock, and no bank of any sort that is willing to transact with me, it is a dismal situation. I want the banking ombudsman to take on ABSA, why does it take two months to open four accounts, and why didn’t I get feedback until now. I want the banking ombudsman to take on FNB, why if I have been banking with them since 2008, have I been sent on a wild goose chase, regarding credit, that has not been solved, and now my credit has been damaged due to negligence from the banks. I should have been able to procure at least a R300 000 loan with FNB, that was what I was gunning for.
I need bridging finance so that I can finalize the final things outstanding with my ecommerce shop, also a physical shop that I need to trade. I have said I need to be able to work with my credit, that should be available, which I believe to be very unfair. I have been in Primrose for three months, paying Guest Houses, double money, house rent and guest house, invoices available, paying bolt to go to the banks, I have tried my utmost, but it seems my banks want me to end up on street, it seems my banks want me to fall, when I have worked very hard for us to make money, are we here to make money, are banks in business to make money, or are we preventing each other? So… I have paid R15000 in Guest houses in three months, that could have been paid on credit, I ‘lost’ my motorbike to *******, that was R30000 on a good day, so I have been bleeding money and I cannot get to paying my credit, I cannot move, I cannot transact. I have two cars that ‘credit’ will want when I don’t pay you okes, but I have R400 000 stock, and someone else is going to sell it at a premium. Where I am standing, the banks are preventing me from being in partnership with them. I am being called for outstanding credit, no I am haunted for it, but when I speak, nothing happens. I was sequestrated in 2006, I have waited a long time, I waited and waited. Purpose Passion Perseverance Persistence Patience
I have been patient enough.
I read a book by Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged, what is happening to me is indicative of why our economy is struggling, if it takes a bank, ABSA 60 days and counting to open four business accounts, FNB that have been transacting with me since 2008, but no help, no assistance, and I have lets call it R6,400,000 to sell, but no portal to do so with, no car to deliver it with, I am stuck next to the road, with a flat tyre, with only the banks to call on, and I am stuck, the wheel is spinning in the tyre, we are going no where.
So banks, FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank and poor old ABSA, I would very much like to make lots of money for you, I made mistakes in the past, I did what the law of our beautiful country requires, but I want action, I want help and I will fight for it. Don’t think we are going to talk about paying credit, if what is due to me so that I can perform as is my right with unencumbered credit and a clean slate, in my businesses, have not been fulfilled.
I had a dream, I worked it, made the stock to sell, nou soek ek ‘n oorstoot drie.
I need my banks, I need all the banks to play a part, because I want to make it as easy for your patrons to bank with me, but I need you okes to play ball, not take the rod and try and fight me, I think I have enough gun to make my case should it go to court for neglect and spoliation from my banks, pertaining to a match I have to start with one hand tied behind my bank, with non-updated credit.
Help me make the field level Sir.
