FNB FAILED ME!
My name is Samier Nagia. I have been banking with FNB for a while and at this point, I am ready to take my business elsewhere. In addition to my main account, I opened up an Islamic savings account with FNB. As times are tough, I have thought of ways to earn an extra income and with this I have invested with a registered business, which I have a certificate of accreditation. Thankfully I have just started earning from my investment. On 22 February 2022 , I had an unexpected bill to pay and with this, to my horror , I had no access to my funds. My account was blocked! NO NOTIFICATIONS. NO CALL. NO SMS. NO EMAIL.NO WARNING. I’ve made numerous calls, spoke to multiple advisors , which I was advised that Thato Hlatshwayo logged my case(Contact centre agent for FNB). I was advised that my account is currently being investigated by an FNB investigator called Nhlhmulo Baloyi. A contact number for that department was given to me ie.***, after being transferred 7 times, none of the agents were able to assist me. I was advised that Nhlhmulo Baloyi ,would contact me and that would be the only individual that could explain what has transpired and why my account is blocked. It is now 5 days later and I have not gotten any feedback from FNB. Nhlhmulo Baloyi Is nowhere in existence and my money is blocked. My life is literally at a standstill, until someone from FNB has the decency to contact me. The day my issue is sorted, I will be closing my FNB account. I have been given a case reference number which is ***. I want my account sorted and money released within the next 24 business hours AND I WILL be closing my account with First National Bank. Please assist as I have expired all options to having this issue resolved .
