FNB Fail to process refund in advised timeline

It is utterly disgusting that a refund for a debit order by FNB on an FNB account takes this long to process and that the consultants on the contact lines do not follow the same standards. I had a debit order run on Friday 23.10.2020 which should have been stopped. When i called the Personal Loans number***) i was advised by a consultant that the transaction must process before a refund can be done. I then called again Saturday 24.10.2020 around 9am and was direct to *** to speak to the collections team. After atleast 9 calls to this number i finally made contact with a consultant named Gugu who heard my request, she then advised that it is noted on the system of the debit order cancellation and therefore she will process a refund which will take 24to48hrs(this was said on a recorded line). When contacting the team on Monday and Tuesday i was told 2 different time lines, Monday being 3-5days, Tuesday being 3-7days. This morning once again i attempt to make contact and firstly deal with a very Rude consultant named Peter Bambo, when i requested his team leaders contact details(Bongani Mavundla) he was reluctant to provide me with this and gave me a bogus contact number for this team leader. The standard of service being provided at this point is utterly disgusting. When calling back and speaking to another consultant i was advised that a refund request was placed on Saturday and there is nothing she can do but wait for it to process. This is just poor service when taking into consideration that the original call advised within 48hrs and this being done on a recorded line.

The above service is leading my thought pattern in the direction of uprooting my accounts and changing banks as this is the worst service ive ever received in the 10years of banking with FNB.

I want the above mentioned refund to be process and paid by close of business today as this is already beyond the originally provided timeline of 48hrs. Should my request number be met, i will continue to post negative reviews on this matter until my point is address.

Reviewer Update
I am utterly disgusted at the service being received from FNB. This review was posted at 09:46am yesterday, at 10:28am(Almost 1hr later) you respond advising of the formal complaint being logged with reference above, almost 1hr after that i received a mail from Retail Service recovery(***) advising that the aforementioned reference has been escalated to the relevant department and they will contact me directly and this mail was sent by Grant Plessis as per the signature. Since then i have received no update even after attempting contact with Grant. This is terrible customer service.
