FNB fail clients of 21 years.

We are clients of 21 years with a minimal outstanding bond. We have paid without failure. We have app**** for a small access loan on our bond. The total amount we would consequently owe FNB would still be lower than our registered loan. The amount we would repay monthly on this new amount is a smaller amount than we pay at this time, so there is no risk to the bank whatsoever. We have proven over the past 21 years to be clients of good repute. FNB have given us a huge run around: they asked for all my husband and my details, after weeks of runaround, requests on our side met immediately, we were told to move out our excess funds in our bond account AND THEN SUDDENLY TOLD: No, you are not married in community of property! Our original contract with FNB noted this exact point and it was no problem. Now we have been told we cannot afford the repayments. We have had call centres trying to help us but they are totally untrained in answering questions and being able to deal with queries adequately. They simply repeat one liners as their answers to our questions. We CANNOT ACCESS A PERSON TO DISCUSS ANYTHING WITH.

Totally unprofessional and uncaring, considering we have have been clients of 21 years!
