This is one frustrating institution! My internet goes off on the 1st every month, was wondering why is didn't this month .after receiving 3mails from afrihost ,I called them attempting the payment again as the agent could not tell me what the issue was. I then discovered that my card has been blocked on the FNB app hence the prohibition of the initial collection and the 2 following that.i manually unblocked it and the agent attempted again and it went through.i see that FNB charged me a items paid no funds fee of 180 rand when they blocked my card without my knowledge.after speaking to 3 agents on secure chat, 2 advised that people where double charged die to system errors and it will be reversed Automatically, the 3rd advised that I didn't have sufficient funds in the account and that's y I got charged, although I screenshot that I paid the 2nd and got charged 5he 5th also advised him that it's fnbs fault for blocking my card prohibiting the initial payment, he blatantly ended the chat with no resolve.
