FNB !

This is the WORST service that I have ever received !!!!!

I am a past employee of FNB and have never seen a bank that does not know the own procedures and do not feel safe banking with FNB !

A close friend recently had his phone ****** and even though he deleted his IPhone, his FNB app was hacked and a large amount of funds ******. The FNB app was the only app hacked even though he had other banking apps on his deleted phone.

Considering the above, when I misplaced my mobile phone, I panicked and called ***** line to block my account/cards and was told that the App would be delinked.

When I found my phone the next day, I called FNB *****line but was told that I need to go into a branch to unblock my accounts and FNB app.

Last week I visited the FNB LAKESIDE MALL BRANCH and wasted an hour and a half. After waiting for almost 30mins for assistance, my Cheque Account was unblocked and told that I need to call *****line ? When I explained to the clerk that before coming to the branch I spent 18 mins trying to get through to *****line ! She then called *****line and it took her an hour to get through ! Whilst she held on for *****line, she dialed online banking from another phone and asked me to speak to *****line. The clueless FNB employee at *****line asked the I delete and reload the app and the app will work.

I tried the above without success and as got a message : “ Your digital banking app has been blocked to mitigate possible ***** “.

I called online banking this morning and was told that I need to call *****line. Whilst I was venting my frustration, I was promptly transferred to *****line ! The *****line employee said that I need to go into the branch AGAIN to unblock my online banking profile !!!!

Why am I being thrown from pillar to post and why do I need to go into the branch when I did all the security checks last week in the branch ?

If this is the way that I am being treated I will not hesitate to close my FNB accounts and move to a bank that cares.
