FNB exploits a widow - no communication - triple repayment at the end of the term.

I am deeply disappointed with FNB’s handling of my late husband's bond account. To this day, I have received no communication regarding the outstanding amount. If I were to pay the current installment, it would be nearly triple what I actually owe. In my understanding, only the outstanding balance should need to be settled. Given that the full-term repayment of our bond would not have amounted to this, it feels as though FNB is unfairly overcharging me.

The process has been unnecessarily lengthy, during which the executors took advantage of the situation. Now, I am left with a financial burden that makes it difficult to provide for my family of four. My husband was the primary breadwinner, and I never expected FNB to exploit this difficult time.

I need urgent assistance from the relevant department to resolve this matter fairly. It is incredibly disheartening to feel as though a trusted financial institution is taking advantage of a vulnerable situation rather than offering the support and transparency one would expect.
