FNB EXEMPTED FROM LEGISLATION?
Im forced to give a star, otherwise there would be none.
An agent contacted me on Wednesday last week to gain business for FNB, however, i gave into temptation and submitted. I received confirmation that its been submitted via the app. Wednesday went past, Thursday I contacted via the secure centre for feedback. I was told that its in validations. As myself being in the finance world, i can understand the credit vetting process as I deal with Wesbank daily. Friday again i contacted FNB via secure chat and i was informed that validations was done at 08:29:12am. I was then told after a lot of frustration that i can email the validations department in which i proceeded to do, upon requesting the agent on the chat, she informed me that this department works on Saturdays. Saturday i still didnt have any feedback and I called in to which i was told that that department doesnt process anything on Saturdays. Proceeded to wait until Monday. Monday came, I emailed and contacted via the secure chat, and received the same response again that its been completed and will be sorted shortly. Still no response via email. So i sent another follow up email and cc'd Customer care. Only received a automated response from FNB care. Monday went past, no feedback again. Here i am today, sent a follow up email as my emails was simply just ignored, and shrugged under the carpet, sorted in the back end with no integrity. To date, i have not received a response, even for a apology for the pathetic service.
Question, How do I treat a client with fairness and honesty, if this is the service I am getting and experiencing with the bank overall? (I wont even get into the situation i had with the Wesbank shop for myself, a whole story on its own).
Or is FNB agents exempted from the rule and legislation of the FSCA?
