FNB - Exceptionally bad service

Besides having ***** on my account I am doing a restructure and need my debit order run to be switched from one entity to another since September 2017, but to no avail. It has been a combination of excuses: my calls not being returned, staff being on leave, been busy, we can only communicate with credit via email (but an email mentioned going to see them), the latest being something minor on their system that goes back 16 years that needs to be clarified. Members of my family, myself and my business have been banking with FNB for many years and, the service levels have never been so bad, it has just deteriorated over the years. FNB is your motto "How can we help you" not a contradiction? I even tried to complain via the FNB website but the system doesn't work. Not a bank to recommend to anyone. Regards, Damian M Ceruti

It has been 5 weeks since I posted on this website, 7 months since I initially requested the collections (debit orders) to be moved. Have had a lot of movement from FNB but it is still not sorted. The old system has been cancelled and the new on is still not up and running yet so we can't do a run at all. I even went to FNB Business in vd Linde Rd in Bedfordview to sort it out. Got help but the ball was dropped again. Was told to contact ********** who could not help, they told me to call FNB Business back which I did and got voice mail. It is 24 hrs after the final hour, we were supposed to do the run yesterday! To run a collection we are bound by a set of banking rules which are now going to restrict us as time is running out, which in turn will affect our cash flow. I was also told that it has to go to numerous departments for approval, the best part is before one department can approve something it has to wait for the approval on something from another who in turn waits for the same thing from another; and each time it goes to the end of the queque; they are restricted to communication only via email. Have you ever tried calling a branch on their advertised number to speak to a specific person?...you get through to a call centre. Should we not be able to do the run today I will consult an attorney and sue for damages. "HOW CAN WE HELP YOU" hmmm

Good Morning, It is now another 4 months down the road and we are still not set up properly to do our collections. Am I not surprised at this. Sent an email to the FNB staff members dealing with this and guess what? ...they are all on leave!! It is time to get compensation from FNB for the revenue lost.
