FNB EWALLET IS NOT A SOLUTION

Totally and utterly dissapointed with FNB. I was sent 2 ewallet transactions but could not access an atm immediately. Upon going to *120*277# to get another pin as it had been more than 16 hours, there was only 1 amount reflecting.I then contacted my partner who had sent the e wallet funds and he had no idea what was happening as the money was deducted from his account. He tried to get assistance from the FNB secure chat on the app but to no avail. He was then contacted by FNB who after almost an hour on the phone could not assist.I am unemployed and I have a 2 month old baby who needs essentials however my partner has been told that he has to wait 3-5 working days for the matter to be resolved. Its so ironic as I was the one that insisted that my partner move from his bank of many years to FNB. FNB needs to be more transparent about their services. Your sincerest apologies will not be able to help as I need those funds immediately for my baby. From being a bank I trusted to being a bank that I will never ever refer to anyone. You have left a bitter taste in my mouth which will never go away.

Thank you Devon for contacting me and your honesty. It was much appreciated. It's seems as FNB does not have the adequate software to protect its clients money and to also know what's happening in the pipeline from the time money is sent via ewallet to the time it is actually withdrawn.Devon has stated that only 1 amount is reflecting on their side but I have received sms' for both ewallet transactions sent to my number. The money was deducted from my partners account but it hasn't been reversed. So where did the money go to???? I have no peace of mind now whatsoever. The issue had to be taken further by my partner and it has been logged. FNB I do hope you have a logical explanation as to what happened to my money.

Thank you FNB for helping resolve the issue in a timeous manner. I do understand that there will be issues when it comes to any bank, but ask if you could get a system whereby you are able to see what is happening in the pipeline when we use the e wallet services. It was just very troubling to me that you could only see one e wallet transaction which was done before the one in question. This atleast gives us peace of mind that we haven't been de*****ed. Thank you once again to Busi and Devon from FNB you both listened and tried your best to assist in my very dear time of anxiousness and frustration.
