FNB eWallet - cannot access money in eWallet account

We attempted to send money via FNB eWallet to our teenage children who are on a school tour 800km away. The money was successfully sent and the children received the sms notifications. They also had ample airtime available. We have been loyal FNB clients and had used eWallet often . This is a service that we rely on in emergencies, however in this case despite the money being successfully sent and according to FNB customer services the money reflecting in the eWallet account, my children still could not access it as we were advised that there were FNB network faults and possible maintenance taking place on the system. We were told they might only have access in 24 hours time. This is a poor show when eWallet is needed. In this case my children have been compromised. This is shocking service. We managed to make use of an Absa account and this proved to work perfectly. FNB need to check their systems. Very poor and ************* service from FNB eWallet. Still nothing available a day later and now customer service sink so low as to blame the children for being out of airtime...Come on FNB...you are a disgrace. This fault needs to be exposed on a national level FNB . Wake up and improve your systems and your customer services ..obviously not customer orientated or competently trained at all!
