FNB eWallet Access

It hurts to be going through such motions to expose the one bank i have, for more than 15 years ,boasted and uphold integrity of!

I added a star because i know FNB Connect is a new venture for FNB but still feel 1 star is to much; no resolution to date.

In short, i had a FNB Connect SIM and number with an ewallet attached, i also has my old Vodacom number with an ewallet attached - both were in use.

I then had my Vodacom number (079) ported to the FNB SIM, which over righted my FNB connect number (061).

After wasting hours on the phone, frustrated i head to the branch; i am told without access to the FNB Connect number i can't get the PIN which is generated to "Get Cash" so the only alternative is to have the sender call the bank and do a reversal - which is going to cost, not only a fee, but most definitely hours of their time to do so. (They will only be back from holiday end next week)

So, for 3 weeks, FNB have been holding onto my funds, CLAIMING they can't access it, even though the FNB eWallet, is thier service, FNB Connect, is thier network, the FNB porting was done by them; even the sender used FNB to send the funds!! :(

Brings me to my next question / complaint - what has happened to the money that was in my eWallet prior to the porting? And i wont accept stories of it being un accessible - if you lose a 1 rand coin, it is still somewhere and there is still a way of accessing it.

I would have tried doing a SIM swap, but dont have a PUK or serial number that will be required because FNB Connect boasted about the fact that all the FICA documents were already in place??

Again - it ****s me having to go this far with my frustration; i always had FNB's back!
