Fnb error code 217

My dad recently made a transfer from a cheque account to his savings pocket account. Now that he'd like to access funds from his savings account by transferring it to his cheque account, he receives an error - Sorry! You cannot transact from this card/account as it is inactive or there are insufficient funds available in this account. Contacted fnb via the secure chat and they claim there's a ***** hold on the savings account. Now we are expected to contact the ***** team to lift the hold on the savings account and they will advise the reason for the hold and how to proceed?! This is absolutely ridiculous. The only transactions have been monthly transfers and debit orders, what *****?! Fnb should contact my dad immediately, and lift the hold on his savings account with immediate effect, no questions asked.
