FNB Enterprise Banking - A Case Study in Customer Neglect
FNB Enterprise Banking, you’ve managed to turn a simple banking error into a six-month saga of complete and utter neglect.
In July 2024, my business partner and I made an error in reporting a *****ulent transaction to FNB. Since then, we’ve been locked out of our business account—an account with funds that we cannot access, despite the money being there. This situation has dragged on for far too long, and it’s clear that FNB has absolutely no interest in resolving the issue, leaving us in limbo.
We’ve done everything humanly possible to get someone at FNB to take responsibility. We’ve called your branches, logged countless calls with your customer service, and visited in person. Every time, we’ve been met with unhelpful responses and empty promises. Our “relationship banker” has been completely unresponsive, and even when someone from Enterprise Banking finally called us two weeks ago, we were given the same tired assurances and no actual solutions.
With FNB’s mishandling of our account, we’re unable to access our own funds. It’s the laughable limits on the “temporary” cards you issued that are forcing us to withdraw money in drips and drabs over consecutive days, just to accumulate enough to pay our staff. These restrictive limits are making even the simplest transactions a logistical nightmare.
This has gone beyond frustrating—it’s a direct threat to the integrity of our business. You’ve effectively disabled our ability to operate smoothly and, worst of all, you’ve done it without any regard for how your incompetence impacts real businesses.
The lack of communication and accountability is staggering. How many times do we have to ask for help before someone at FNB takes ownership of the problem? Six months of waiting is beyond unacceptable—it’s a blatant disregard for your customers.
I’m done being patient. Either fix this immediately or stop pretending FNB is equipped to serve businesses like mine. We expect better than this.
