Fnb enquiry

I opened an aspire account at FNB online on the 14th of May, but an enquiry was made on my credit record which i know nothing about. Since when are enquiries are made when someone opens a banjk account. This has affected my credit record, I have tried calling but no one has the right answer. My score went by 36 points. I want this removed because I am building my score and I don't want this in my credit report. I was only opening a bank account. I am not happy at all.
