FNB ebucks *******

I got a new card from FNB (silver card) however my gold card was still working and since it is for the same account; I continued using it. In fact my previous smart account card is still also working, so in total I have 3 cards, one account, and one signatory. I only found out today that I have not been receiving ebucks rewards/ points as I was swiping using the gold cards. I was never told that I should stop using the gold card. The card still works in every way and is still linked to my account. If I am not supposed to use it then why is it still active? I called ebucks this morning and I was told, don’t worry FNB will be able to backdate all your points (it's one account, they can pick up all the payments from this account) great, I called FNB and they say, no we can’t help up you please call ebucks. I called ebucks and they said, well, we need to pull the call and see what you were advised. WHAT??? I don't understand what the run around is for? I don’t care who said what, that’s not the point. The point is, I have not been getting ebucks points because I’ve been using the wrong cards unawares. These cards are still active. If I’m not supposed to be using them, then someone should have told me. The error is not on my side so why can’t I be accommodated, I'm the client here? How was I supposed to know all this if no one told me? And why do I have 3 cards active on just one account? Surely a recon can be done and points awarded backdated? At the end of the day, I swiped from my FNB account. You guys advertise that you get ebucks when you pay from you account, I did that. What’s up with the terms and conditions that are not even in my control? I faithfully swipe my card when I pour petrol and when I shop at checkers just so I can get some points. Then now I’m told, oh sorry you should have known that the active cards on your account shouldn’t be used.
