FNB Ebucks punishing loyal user

I have only just caught up with FNB's new Ebucks conditions as from 1 July and am shocked to find that I am worse off than before. As I have Goldcard credit and petrol cards with FNB but no other accounts (no cheque, savings, investments, etc.) I remain a Level 1 Ebucks customer. For Level 1 the Ebucks earned on instore and online shopping has dropped from 0 .6% and 1.2% respectively to 0 .3% for both; and the limit at which Ebucks monthly expenditure is capped has dropped from R20,000 to R15,000. The only way I can earn more Ebucks (as I was before with the old structures) is to open further accounts with FNB. So I am effectively being punished for choosing not to have more accounts than I need?
