FNB eBucks is a hidden trap I am an FNB Premier client on Reward Level 4. FNB's app actively pushes you to use their in-app "FNB Pay Bills" feature to hit monthly targets and earn 1,000 eBucks. I did exactly that to pay my Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality account. Now, FNB Care Management (***) has stripped away my monthly Kauai voucher benefit. Why? Because their flawed backend coded that specific in-app payment as a retail debit card purchase, claiming I broke the "100% credit card spend" rule! How can FNB incentivize you to use an app feature on one screen, and then penalize you for using it on another? This happened over the exact same weekend that FNB's system lag double-deducted my account, forcing me into a negative balance and hitting me with R983 in erroneous fees (which they've already been forced to reverse!).FNB refuses to fix their reward system glitch, so this has been formally escalated to the National Financial Ombud Scheme. Avoid FNB Premier if you want transparent rewards
