FNB easy to open *****ulent accounts - Beware

I bank at ABSA. Someone used a copy of my ID and opened 3 *****ulent accounts in my name with FNB online. Apparently FNB does NOT do any duo diligence when opening accounts. They cleaned out 3 accounts of almost R70 000 each. With ABSA, you can not open a credit account without going into the bank to confirm your identity. My credit score is now ruined and I can not get a loan before this is sorted out. FNB is busy with the investigation now for almost a month and every time they put me through to the investigation team to follow-up it rings for 30min without answer. I need a letter form FNB to confirm that these accounts are not mine so that I can apply for loans at ABSA again.
