FNB duplicates transactions & refuse to rectify it.

On 6 March I noticed that my cheque account went into a debit balance and as a result, money was automatically transferred from the revolving loan facility. I called the ***** department on the same day and they advised that I have pending transactions hence the debit balance. This was incorrect and I ended up at the aspire account department. The agent there advised me that they had received internal communication with regards to a system glitch which duplicated transactions that apparently affected 300+ customers. A few calls back and forth and they reversed 50% of the duplicated transactions. FNB keeps closing the ticket/query and its not resolved, to date I await the other 50% of the duplicated transactions to be reversed and for them to reverse the transfer that took place on my revolving facility as a result of their system error.

This is ********* on a number of levels and to day they refuse to resolve the query.

Good day,

Thank you for your reply.

I received a call from an agent, but the agent keeps on referring to me having to transfer money back into revolving facility that was transferred to my cheque account as a result of the duplicate transaction issue that led to my account being in a debit balance. Nobody seems to know how to fix the problem which is quite simple - reverse the revolving facility transactions that took place as a result of the system glitch as well as the interest on negative balance on my revolving loan that I'm having to pay. It's as simple as that really. Then, lastly, the remainder of the reversals for the duplicate transactions and then providing me with a list of affected transactions that I cannot see on my side.
