FNB drags feet to allow for more charges

I have requested FNB to close my credit card account on the 5th of November, to date still nothing. The account has a positive balance and still manages to attract negative charges, I'll chalk it up to the fine print T&C's no one reads.

It appears a simple effort of closing the account has the same level of difficulty as rocket science, or maybe I give them too much credit, maybe it's just a scheme to still effect the negative charges.

Could you banking people close my account. Did I really have to come here to get your attention over something so trivial???
