FNB double deducts interest through clever debit order accounting

I am highly dissappointed in FNB. I have a personal loan where the repayment is due on the 25th of each month. I app**** for a temporary loan which was credited to my account and the repayment is also due on the 25th. The call centre agent has told me that the loan deduction is actually due on the 22nd of each month, three days before my payday.

FNB have now deducated the loan repayment for the personal loan from the temporary loan. The deduction took place on the 21st of the month. So technically FNB are charging me interest on top of interest.

There call centre has said there is nothing that they can do to assist me and that is the way the system works. I will now have to deal with this issue for the life span of my loan. I also have to accept that FNB are earning double revenue on my loan repayment due to the double interest charge.

I have been told by FNB there is nothing that they can do and I need to accept that this is how the system works.
