FNB DON'T KNOW ANYTHING
When it comes to customer service, FNB doesn't seem to care much about its customers except those classified as ‘prime’ customers. Being a purely service providing institution, the customers should be at the centre of their thinking, however, FNB have failed to keep up with changing time and undertake sufficient investment in the people, processes and systems to promote a customer-centric approach. Ive been left with such a sour taste after dealing with FNB, I've been with standard bank my whole life and moved my whole Portfolio across to FNB, only because they provided me with an option to decrease my home loan interest rate by 0.25% more if I did so. recently I've been trying to Draw from my Access bond, but to my surprise every time I do so they come up with new excuses on why I cannot do the transaction. just one example of how pathetic their records are, is that they required an insurance policy for the transaction to take place, however once I submitted such, they said that my mortgage protection insurance is not what they require but rather a building insurance policy, however the property is a vacant plot of land! there is not building. They then proceed to school me and explain the difference between morgage insurance and building insurance, because im so stupid for not taking building insurance out on vacant land and not supplying them with the correct insurance policy. after 2 weeks, im yet to still access my funds, and they keep coming with new stories. FNB Also recently left me waiting in one of their branches for 30MIN to collect a credit card, and then refused to issue it to me because they stated that I had already activated it on my app. I wish I never made the move to FNB! DO YOU RESEARCH BEFORE MOVING TO FNB.
Furthermore, this issue is costing me money and effort that I will never be able to recover because of FNB's poor administration, not my fault. But I can inform the public about my experiences with FNB so that they can choose wisely when selecting a service provider, like FNB.
