FNB Don't help clients

My wife are banking with FNB now for more than 18 years. Every month we get offers to moved up to a higher level account. Last year we app**** for futher home loan and was granted on condition on approved building plans. We sorted out the building plans and got everything approved. With city council taking so long a time went past before everything was approved. When we contact FNB to state that the plan is now in place I was told to re-apply. Since the time past both of us also received increases at work. We went the route and got feedback it will take 3 to 5 working days. After 2 weeks we received no feedback. I phoned them and was told they only received feeedback that morning and wanted more documentation. We send them the documentation and after a week notify us it is declined. Our loan are with FNB for almost 5 years and never went in arrears. Not one month was the home loan not payed. The excuse FNB uses s we cant afford it. I think my wife and I know what we can and can't afford. Maybe it is time to switch and give our bussinnes to a bank looking fot clients to help. FNB really goes out of their way not to help.

Reviewer Update
On the same day I lodged a complain I was contacted by a FNB consultant stating they will look into the matter. I was told that it will be sorted out sortly. Today is 11 days since our telephonic conversation and still no feedback and still no response. I was contacted twice by FNB sales reps trying to sell products to me. When I lock onto my FNB App its says you qualify for a loan of R100 000 and a Home loan of R 1 100 000 but according to them we dont qualify. Really FNB is going backwards in service and seems we are just another number. Being clients for more than 18 years and be treated this way is unacceptable.
