FNB dont communicate

I am a FNB premier member as I make use of the slow loungers.

So it came as a huge surprise that after spending 15min in the international lounge I was charge R800. When asking what is going on I was told that FNB informed me in June/ July about the changes. This was a generic message sent to all premier member, which ended up in my spam account.

I just don't understand why when entering the international lounge, why I wasn't informed there would be a charge. Or when locking onto the app inform me of changes that affect me, but instead I get offers for increasing my credit card limit or pre-approvals for a bond.

I have already been to the branch and sent a complaint through. Just to be told that I got an email. However, that doesn't help much now.

Thanks for your reply on hello peter with the reference number. I however haven’t had anyone from the bank call me or contact me. Which makes it rather a waste of time to just have a reference number.
