FNB - DON'T BE FOOLED WITH "Firmly influenced by the people we serve"
I am lodging this complaint against FNB ***** dept. I have recently fallen victim to a ****mer losing all of my savings. After going through the tedious process of opening a ***** case with the police I approached FNB for further assistance. Since I initially contacted them on 14th of November 2023 I've made several enquiries via email and telephone asking for feedback without any success. often having to wait up to 50 minutes before my call is answered. I consider the lack of service utterly deplorable especially for a company that considers itself "Firmly influenced by the people we serve". Feedback received after various follow up email from my side I kept on receiving the same response from the investigator and his supervisor that they are waiting for feedback from Standard Bank on the matter. When I have received a letter stipulated that FNB/ Standard Bank - It later came to light that you have been a victim of ***** or a ****. Standard bank has advised that funds have been utilized and there are no available funds left to claim. FNB suggest that my further pursue this matter ********ly. Standard bank will assist you in this process and will provide the South African Police Service (SAPS) and/or relevant law enforcement with information pertaining to the implicated Standard bank account, upon being served with a Section 205 Subpoena in terms of the ******** Procedure Act 51 of 1977.
I feel FNB lack of communication and support on this matter is the reason that the funds can't be utilized and there are no available funds left to claim. . I am a firm believer that FNB lacks "Firmly influenced by the people we serve"
