FNB doesn't allow debit orders for Rent

App**** for covid assistance. After it was accepted, they told me this only applies to debit orders.

I don't pay rent via debit order, so I immediately contacted the landlord and asked if we can go with debit orders.

Me and landlord are with FNB.

I contacted my banker and tried to find out the requirements of what should be on a debit order, no example was available.

I drafted a debit order and asked if it was correct, it was confirmed to be fine.

I asked if we can proceed to get the debit order and was told by banker, FNB doesn't do debit orders for rent.

I do not even know how to react to this.
