FNB DOES NOT WANT TO SUSPEND A PAIDUP DEBICHECK

So, I had a debicheck of about R11600, which for several times I have requested FNB to suspend, as the account is paid up, but they keep refusing to suspend it for me, instead they tell me to do that myself. I explained to them that previously it was said that I can not suspend a debicheck exceeding R300, I even made a screenshot to show them that the debicheck does not have a suspend button. But still nothing was done, even after telling them of an Absa debicheck which was previously suspended, I could not suspend it myself, Absa gave me a form which I had to complete, and they sent it to FNB then the debicheck was cancelled, but with this particular one, they are refusing. I think my only option now is to change and move to another bank.
