FNB Does not want to close my husbands account

We are now so fed up with this stupid bank my husband is an FNB client for 7 Years now we are struggling to close this damh account for a month now he takes off work every week to go into the branches even weekens and every time there is something else wrong with his account there is nothing more on his account we want this stupid account close we were in the bank on Saturday , they can't help us he took of again today now they still can't close it? we do not have the finances to pay these bank charges anymore i cant believe it takes months for fnb to assist in closing a account. When do you expect my husband to take off work again to go into the branch to close his account? its money we lose beause it is unpaid hours he takes from work because the people can't do their jobs We want this account close and we don't want anything to do with FNB any more we want urgent assistance or i will go lay a complaint with the ombudsman... Because this is getting ridiculous no one can drive up and down like idiots to close a stupid account and then every month we are left with the bank charges but the account could have been closed already.. If we don't get any assistance i will leave this account open and you can sue us for the bank costs and then i will definitely take this further
