FNB does not want to close my cheque account

I went to FNB on Friday the 29th Nov to close off my account at centurion branch , I was told some story that doesn’t even make sense as to why they cannot close my account telling me account is at risk 4 and if it was at a lower risk they would close it , also got confused because I made an arrangement with my creditors in terms of how I will pay them so no deductions happen in that account , I been with fnb for years and leaving them because of their ridiculous bank charges especially on missed debit orders , I want that account closed asap because they story they telling me is total bull**** .
