FNB DOES NOT COMPLY TO THE NATIONAL CONSUMER ACT
I app**** for a Business credit card and got declined. Very good credit score, money in the bank, been with FNB years. I mailed, called, complaint and it has been 3 weeks that I could not find someone to assist me with a reason for being declined. Yesterday I received a mail that said your query has been resolved, I called Fnb immediately and advised that it has not been resolved and I just get passed on to the next person as they can't answer me or assist me. I have about 9 reference numbers for the query and all I received back is, we have received your query and will respond within 48 hours. Still no response. How can I trust this bank with MY money if they can't even answer me on a simple question within reason. I am busy taking this legal and public and I have already contacted the NCR and Obmutsman. I am busy opening a business account with another bank for ALL 4 my businesses. According to the NCR FNB must supply me with a valid reason. I also tried to update my KYC with FNB and I received a mail that it has been rectified and updated however I received a policy doc that has a address on that I used years ago. They are rating our credits on Very old data used and not updated by the bureau's. This is now becoming a huge problem for many Consumers. I can't understand that my Company are having a 30day account with the Bureau's that amounts to R100's of thousands per month but FNB can't give me a business Credit card with a R10k credit limit. This is really not making any sense.
