FNB DOES NOT CARE ABOUT BUSINESSES

I 'had' a business account with FNB since 2020. The business grew significantly through that time. We managed to onboard some major corporates during this phase and also some government work. Due to health challenges this year 2026, the business was not doing as good as before. In these 6 years, probably 1 or 2 months prior to account closure, the business went into a negative balance (The business does not have any credit facility), due to bank charges of which these balances were rectified swiftly- nothing more than R1000. The last occasion it went to -R537. FNB decided to close this said account and hand it over for collection, without reaching out to me for clarity. This has caused a major nuisance, since I now have to update my banking details across all procurement processes for all clients of the business, and CSD for any government work. This just tells me that FNB is just with your business in the good phases, not the bad ones. Thanks for Nothing FNB, yet again you have proven that our business does not mean much to you.
