FNB – DOES NOT ASSIST THEIR CLIENTS

FNB does not assist their clients when they try to make arrangements. For the past 3 months I have been trying to make arrangements with FNB regarding my debit orders.

Month 1 - I made arrangements with FNB not to return my debit orders until my clients have paid me. I asked FNB to keep my account in excess for a week, NOT returning my debit orders whereby they agreed. Before the week was over I did receive payment but due to the fact that the payment was from another bank, the money did not reflect in my bank immediately. I phoned Masechaba Makopo at ********** and asked her to please give me an extra day. She agreed on the condition that I will send her proof of payment and request it in an email, which I did. A few hours later, my debit orders returned. What was even more shocking is the fact that all she had to say about this, is “Sorry, I read your email late”. This is so unprofessional and unacceptable from FNB. FNB expect us to make arrangements and keep to them but they cannot even do that with their clients.

Month 2 – I phoned FNB to make arrangements with my debit orders and they just simply said: “We cannot assist because your debit orders returned the previous month, but I will put a note on the system”. Are you serious? My debit orders were returned because someone at FNB does not read her emails. So I apologise on behalf of FNB, for employing employees that does not have any client s****s, does not read their emails and does not care about their clients.

Month 3 – Once again, I tried to make arrangements with FNB just to get the same response as the previous month. So thanks for NOTHING FNB. I am very disappointed and upset with FNB. When my clients pay and the money are deposited into FNB I am good enough but you are not willing to assist your client when you want to make necessary arrangements. FNB stands for everything the opposite they say and advertise.

I think it is better to go to another bank that is willing to give their clients the service and support they need.
