FNB DOES ********** CREDIT CHECKS

I've just logged in to Clearscore only to find out that in MAY 2022 FNB decided without my permission to do a hard check on my credit and it has only now in December shown up on my Clearscore report.

FNB EDG MULTI PRODUCT

This has caused my score to drop drastically by 82 points. I would like to know how FNB plans on resolving this and also why they think it is okay to do checks on people without their consent. From what I can see from other complaints is I am not the only one this has happened TO. and the most shocking part of this entire ordeal is I don't even have a bank account with FNB yet somehow they feel entitled to my personal information and to use it for no reason.
