FNB divulging info to 3rd parties for marketing. Plus Nedbank noting 3rd party info compromise.

Partner just had a call. They claimed to be from FNB. I have signing powers on the account & took the call at first, thinking it was a genuine FNB account communication. They called from ***. They knew what type of account he had with the bank. So clearly FNB is selling clients info to 3rd parties. It became apparent she was a pushy marketer who didn't take no for an answer. She was trying to up sell a product for R5000 cover. Googling them has rating of negative & telemarketers! His number only used by the bank. No other listing of it. Really disappointed got a messaged the other day by sms saying my Nedbank info was compromised by 3rd party but don't worry my info safe. What is happening with the banks now that 3rd parties are gaining our info for marketing purposes!
