FNB - DISGUSTING SERVICE
Dear ***
When I called on 29 June to ask for a temporary overdraft to resolve a recent breach of my email address that lead to financial loss on a corporate account that I am responsible for, I indicated that it was urgent and that I needed assurance that the facility can be completed in time for my debit orders to not be declined by FNB, you assured me that the process will take less than an hour. You told me that the overdraft was approved, but that you need to clarify the interest rates. You promised ot call me back.
And then the problems started. I made about 8 calls – I am sure that the calls can be traced, following up and trying to get the issue resolved.
Eventually on Saturday, 2 July, your colleague told me that the overdraft is already approved and that you had to call me. Eventually I got to speak to you and you wanted me to do the whole process over again.
When I informed you that you and your colleague informed me that the overdraft is approved and that I do not want to do it again, you insisted, and I got angry.
You then decided to spite me and transfer me back to the switchboard so I can restart the process, which I did. You consulted with your supervisor, and I assume that it was a join decision to spite the client. That was well done. And then there was no option to do the overdraft application online as you said – so you **** again. And by this time, my debit orders have already bounced.
SO, I still do not accept your apology for not doing your job and lying to me and not calling me back and for spiting me. I do hope that your superiors see this and take the necessary disciplinary action. And I will not stop until I have evidence that you have been severely disciplined for causing me harm and trauma and a bad credit record.
I really hope that you lock you up in a far away office where other clients are protected from your disgusting service.
And dear FNB, since customers are stone-walled and it is a huge struggle to get something like this addressed, I place it on social media – hopefully a management team member will see and realise the damage being caused to an erstwhile good business.
Kind regards,
