FNB DISCLOSES CLIENT INFORMATION AND PARTICIPATES IN CARD ***** AND HIDE BEHIND 30 DAY TURN AROUND TIME!!!
On Monday 02 September 2024, my bank card was making transactions in a restaurant/ pub in Mpumalanga while I have the physical card in my possession in Joburg. Nobody can answer how the bank's security was bridged! They do not equip their advisors with information to aid the client instead I received three (3) different dates on when I should expect assistance and a resolution ranging from 7-30 days, 14 business days and a 30 day period. I asked one agent if there is a process where he can advise for a formal email at the very least and told me he is not in the position to answer that. I need answers on how my card was cloned, how it was authorised without my authorisation as OTP's and biometric measures are practiced by the bank. One of the agents even went as far as saying that card cloning is also experienced at other banks instead of answering my questions. I don't see it fair that I have to wait fro 30 business days for an investigation to take place while I have my card safe with me and it only took 5 mins for the ***** to take place. Are FNB employees sharing our details? Does FNB really care about their clients? How is it possible to clone my card because it is not lost and my virtual card is also in my possession. Who has these answers if not the bank and why don't they have a shorter turnaround time for such cases. What a great birthday gift from FNB, I'm spending my day and the entire month in the dark with no food and petrol to take my child to school
