FNB Disappointing Dirty Tactics and Foolish Service Delivery
My FNB card was retained by the ATM machine, and while I was at it, I quickly got into the branch office to order a new one. The tellers informed me that actually it is for the sixth time in a short period of time the machine being repaired for retaining cards. However, I was told that my card will be couriered to the preferred address of my availability, whether home or work. I thought it would be best to have it couriered to my home hence my wife is on maternity leave. A day later I was sent an sms that my card will be delivered, I also got a call to confirm my address and all other details. I took that opportunity to provide them with my wife's details. They phoned two days later to ask what was the reason that I did not get my card? Neither do I know. They made up a story that the driver couldn't understand which area I was from, whereas, neither the driver nor anyone phoned on the appointed day of delivery to confirm. I leave in Pretoria and not some outskirt rural area of the country. Again I had to give them the address and all other details, but before that, I asked them to confirm the details I have given them, they concocted another silly manoeuvre as though they captured my details. Tell you what, this foolish fools who think can play idiot with people and still think they can put the situation under control by a continuous mess-up while they smooth talk you? Stupid call centre tactics, don’t play psychological with me. I have given them my details yet again, and to this day I’m still waiting for my card, it has been two weeks still waiting for the card. This is my salary account. Well enough I’ll open an account with ABSA or Standard Bank and transfer the money through an online banking and close this stupid bank account. I cannot tolerate this idiocy while I pay their fees. No I cannot have it.
