FNB Digital Planet

I am utterly disappointed and frustrated with the disgraceful service I have received from FNB and FNB Digital Planet regarding my TV order. I followed every required step, submitted the necessary information, and comp**** with all procedures and yet I have been met with delays, poor communication, and absolutely no urgency to resolve the matter. To make things worse, I was indirectly accused of *****ulent activity without any proper verification of facts. This is a serious and completely unfounded allegation, and it is unacceptable that such implications were made in the first place. Today, in an attempt to get clarity, I contacted FNB Connect. I was told that Digital Planet operates on Saturdays and was transferred to them, only to discover that they are actually closed on weekends. This contradictory information highlights the incompetence and lack of basic customer service within the system. I have spent my time and energy being pushed from one department to another, receiving incorrect information at every turn, and still have no resolution. The entire experience has been pathetic, unprofessional, and deeply frustrating. Customers should not be treated this way.

Thank you for your reply.

The procedure for obtaining an affidavit (where the TV licence is not in my name) was only shared with me on 2 December, after I pressed for more information because I was repeatedly told, “the TV licence is not reflecting and takes 24 hours.” This crucial information should have been provided when the order was placed on 28 November.

I submitted the affidavit on 4 December. On 5 December you confirmed receipt but stated you could not find an active TV licence on the account I supp****. I also received an SMS on 4 December warning that my order would be cancelled if I did not provide the TV licence. To then be accused of lying on the affidavit is wholly unacceptable.

Your handling of this matter, and the competence of the staff involved, requires a formal investigation.
