FNB ***** department just ghosts you.

I am absolutely appalled at how FNB ***** Department has handled my case. I was in an armed home invasion, my life threatened for my pin numbers and by the time I had managed to get free and block my cards, Cash had been withdrawn and 10k had been spent on my card at a liquor store. Firstly - FNB did not flag this as a suspicious transaction (based on the location and that I never buy liquor), and then, still allowed the transaction to go through two days later, after blocking my cards. I have contacted the ***** department and just been told that the forensic department is investigating - promised callbacks that I have not yet received. Not once has FNB ***** department contacted me. I wrote a complaint via their website, was emailed back saying that the relevant person would handle my complaint. No response since. When I emailed the above person directly - no response. I have heard nothing from them since I reported the incident on 19 November 2023. FNB just ghosts you. Next port of call is the Ombudsman.
