FNB ***** DEPARTMENT.
Last year March I was ****med and reported this to the FNB ***** department with the police case number and statement. A case was opened at FNB and the account details of the *****ster was provided to the FNB ***** department. I received feedback from the person dealing with my case which I will not name stating that they will conduct an investigation and provide feedback. 2 weeks went by and no feedback was provided. I called to follow up only to find that the person assigned to my case was on leave and no one was dealing with my case at that time. Eventually when I followed up again the gentleman informed me he was on leave and he is still working on the case. I left it at that, allowed time for the gentleman to do his job. After a few mails following up with the gentleman and no response I called again and he informed me my case is closed they can’t recover the funds because they have been transferred to a business account. I was informed the account was frozen. In the early stages of the investigation when the *****sters account was frozen he reached out requesting that we withdraw the case and he will give the money back, I sent that communication to the FNB agent dealing with my case and he never got back to me. I am very disappointed in the service I received especially with such a crucial case. ***** is a very serious matter and I could have recovered my funds had it been dealt with accordingly. FNB is by far the worst at dealing with serious matters and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. The lack of care and service is shocking.
