FNB Demand the Number They Just Dialled -- or Goodbye.

It's a small thing, but prevented me from opening a global account when I needed to get this done. I app**** to FNB to open a global account. FNB called me, and asked me for the number they were calling me on. I said that I had the phone to my ear -- I would have to cut them off to look for it on my phone. But if they dialled my number in the first place, then they already had it. No, said the consultant, rules is rules, if I can't give them my number, this conversation is over. And with that, my global account is delayed -- if they would in fact open a global account for me. My FNB ref. no. is SI ********** 800229.
