FNB definitely NOT No. 1 bank

My son is a long time client of FNB Card. He has been overseas for the past 2 years (having been prevented by covid from returning to S.A. from the Netherlands). FNB recently decided that they will no longer email card statements, so now he has no idea of what transactions appear on his statement. He gave me Letter of Authority (or Power of attorney on his card so I could pay his card payments etc which was okay when FNB sent out statements. Now what happens is that a required monthly minimum payment is only sms'd. As he is overseas he now cannot sign up for ONLINE Banking so it is impossible for him to receive his monthly statements - which I used to receive on his behalf. and forward to him. Please can you advise what steps we need to take to ask for the very, very little request that a FNB client can receive a statement when he asks for one. FNB is supposed to be NO. 1 but most certainly not in my book. Just email the statements and please stop forcing us to use your FNB app if we don't want to.

Reviewer Update
On 9 March, your Veronique Williams, responded to my above complaint that my son who lives overseas will receive his FNB statements via email. He is still waiting for this to happen and it is now August - 6 months later. This is unacceptable service and I am now glad that I have cancelled my own FNB credit card. Please get someone to honour what Veronique advised and email my son's FNB statements to him at his email address. Thank you.
