FNB defensive attitude is rather pathetic

In response to the complaint on Page 3 of the Pretoria News article, FNB's spokeswoman Lee-Ann van Zyl, is quick to defend the bank for letting a confirmed ********* to walk free despite a failed fingerprint verification. She then mentions that the bank had no authority to force a client to stay in the branch. I find her statements quite pathetic to say the least. Who said they must force anyone to stay inside the bank? The burning issue here is the fact that they failed to atleast seek assistance in apprehending the said suspect. The bank did not even attempt to call the police yet she claims that informing and waiting on the police takes time. If this is the case, what measures have they sought? Don't they have a panic button or something of that nature? Why do they have security personnel if a suspect can just walk in and out as they please? As a spokeswoman for the bank, couldnt she atleast acknowledge that the bank should have acted swifly? Is defending yourselves that more important than displaying sympathy to your client? This attitude sickens and disgusts me! So much for 'How can we help you'.
