FNB deducting my from account yet shows declined by merchant

On Sunday, I visited Engen to refuel and attempted to pay using my card. Unfortunately, it was declined twice with a 'limit exceeded' message on Engen’s side, yet both transactions were deducted from my account. It was an extremely frustrating and embarrassing experience, though thankfully I had cash on hand to resolve the situation. I’m struggling to understand why I must wait so long for the funds to be reversed when the issue appears to have originated from FNB’s side. I would appreciate urgent assistance in resolving this.

I'm extremely upset with the poor service I'm receiving from fnb. I was humiliated when my card declined twice at the petrol station, yet the money was deducted from my account. I was advised to fill in a dispute form and send the declined receipts which I did Monday. I'm getting the same emails asking for the same information I sent Monday already. To top it off yesterday I was contacted by Modjadji insisting for that information again. She asked if I paid for the transaction, which I explained they won't allow you to leave the petrol station unless you pay. She then asked for that proof. How do I send a bank statement of someone else although it's a friend that their personal information. I told her she can contact the petrol station same as I did before I logged the complaint. Its almost a week and I still have received my money. I had to pay my friend back with my child ls school transport money, not sure how he's getting to school next week see that FNB is having issue paying back my own money

It's been over a week since I submitted the dispute form along with proof that the amount was deducted from my account, despite the transaction being declined. I'm still awaiting a refund from FNB for my own funds. This delay is unacceptable, and I would appreciate prompt resolution.
