FNB deducted funds in my account
I opened a share investor account some time ago. I have since stopped using the account. This morning I receive and SMS saying there is a transfer from my transactional account into that account.
I got a number of issues with this.
1. When I opened the account I never authorized FNB or gave them a right to transact on my behalf
2. FNB clearly does not respect my account as a customer, why must they fund an account that belongs to me on my behalf? Why not close it if they think am not using or funding it?
3. What document did I sign that says in the even that the share investor is overdrawn FNB reserves the right to do as they please with my money, like taking funds I have budgeted for to fund the account.
4. The share investor account is overdrawn with 632 but FNB went and deducted 832 in my account? Not that am okay with the deduction, but what the hell really?
Am so disgusted with this that am considering closing my account or just move to other banks.
