FNB declined my Credit Card application but not ABSA

How is it possible that a bank that I have been with for many years refuses to grant me a credit card, this is bad for my credit report as enquiries are a thing on your report. So, I decided ah what a hell and app**** at ABSA and was approved immediately as a Premium Private customer. I am a private wealth banker with FNB but maybe it is time to switch banks as others are willing to help me with no issues.
