FNB Debt Review info leak
I'm very disappointed by FNB. I notified them that CDS Consulting placed me under ******** Debt Review, and they want to call the ****mer company to get a 17.2 rejection form, despite my having made it clear. I even have a case number from SAPS.
The information that was provided to you was also incorrect. I'm married in the COP regime, my spouse was not consulted or included despite our finances being merged, but FNB let these ****mers in my credit.
FNB is also unwilling to help. The ***** department is useless, and the Debt review department wants me to contact the ****mers to get them to take it back. and admit ***** which is never gonna happen.

05 Dec 2025, 17:30This is now my second review, as FNB has taken no action regarding the *****ulent debt review listing placed against my name without my consent.
A company called CDS Consulting submitted a debt review application using forged details and inaccurate personal information. Despite obvious discrepancies, FNB failed to pick up the incorrect information and processed the listing anyway. When approached, CDS Consulting attempted to ****** money and then blocked me — clear ******** behaviour.
What has been most unacceptable is that both FNB’s Debt Review Department and ***** Department refuse to assist. Instead of investigating the matter, I was told to obtain a Form 17.2 from the *****ulent company — an impossible demand. No one is taking accountability, and the bank continues to place the burden on me to resolve ***** I did not authorize.
Meanwhile, FNB revoked my credit facilities without even verifying the legitimacy of the application with me.
I have opened a case with the NCR, but the financial damage and distress caused by FNB’s inaction are significant.
FNB urgently needs to investigate this *****ulent listing, remove the debt review status, and restore my accounts.The lack of support and basic due diligence from both departments is deeply concerning and unacceptable.
