Fnb Debt Review Department

I Called in on the 25th November asking for a settlement amount, on which i settled the account immediately and was advised to send through the proof of payment and also advised to send and email stating that i would like to have my account closed and for a paid up letter to be sent to me asap. the consultant at the time told me it would take 5-6 working days. it is now the 14Th December and i have not yet received anything, I have called in multiple times and was told the same thing by the consultants i have spoken to,but no results or conclusion. i am been told that because i overpaid my account , the accounts department first have to right off the amount overpaid before the account can be closed and then only a paid up letter can be sent...but still no timeline is given ..at this rate... i probably wont receive anything before this year ends. So frustrating and disappointing.
